While getting supplies at the family famr for one our outdoor projects, I snapped some photos of the old tobacco barns that dot the property. They are being slowly taken over by vines and succumbing to the combination of disregard and neglect. Nevertheless, they are beautiful reminders of a by-gone era where tobacco was king.
Making these barns even more meaningful is that Aaron’s great-grandfather built them by hand using materials he found and prepared himself. Amazing.
