- Chickpeas/Garbanzo beans (1 can)
- 1 tbsp. Tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic gloves minced
- Lemon juice, 1 tbsp.
Directions: Put all your ingredients except your salt and pepper into a food processor and blend until smooth. Add more olive oil if the consistency is dry and coarse. Mix in salt and pepper to taste. Put mixture in serving bowl and garnish with minced garlic, a drizzle of olive oil and fresh cracked pepper. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies (celery, carrots, etc.)
Greek Yogurt (1 cup)
Peeled and deseeded cucumber, cut into chunks
Salt (to taste)
Directions: Put all ingredients in food processor, except salt. Pulse until smooth. Add salt to taste. Put in serving bowl and serve with pita chips or veggies.
- 4 avocados (peeled, pit removed, and chunked)
- 1 can of fire roast tomatoes
- Lemon Juice
- Cumin (1 tsp.)
- Salt to taste
Directions: Throw all ingredients into the food processor. Pulse until just blended, leaving small chunks in the mixture. Put into serving bowl, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve with tortilla chips.
