Squeaky Clean

Standard

Let me start by saying I do not love doing chores.  I do not love cleaning.  I do it because I have difficulty concentrating when the house is a mess or there are giant dust bunnies hopping around.  Hence, I seem to always be cleaning and straightening up.  Hubs always wants to help, but by the time he asks I have usually already remedied the mess.  While reading Design Sponge’s post on a DIY grocery list, the light bulb came on.  Instead of a grocery list, why don’t I make a chores list?  That way Hubs and I know what needs to be done without having to ask.

I just made a simple list of all the regular chores that need to be done in a month.  I added check boxes for each week in the  month and, before you think I am neurotic, I don’t expect all of these chores to be done each week I just wanted to know when they were done so we don’t replicate efforts unnecessarily.  I will put it on the fridge so hopefully we will actually keep up with it!
